Shark sighting reported in waters off Lanikai

A Fire Department engine company and the department's helicopter have been sent to check on a reported shark sighting near the larger of the Mokulua Islands off Lanikai Beach
The fire crew and helicopter were sent out on the call about 8:10 a.m.
There has been no confirmation yet of a shark in the area.
