The Waipio Little League champions will be honored before Saturday's Hawaii Winter Baseball game at Hans L'Orange Park Saturday.

Waipio, which beat Mexico to win the title at Williamsport, Pa., will be honored by the Positive Coaching Alliance starting at 6:30 p.m.

The North Shore Honu play the West Oahu CaneFires at 7 p.m.

In Saturday's other opener at Les Murakami Stadium, the Honolulu Sharks play the Waikiki BeachBoys at 7 p.m.

PCA Hawaii Area Coordinator Stacy Matsuda will present a certificate to the Waipio coaches and players recognizing their achievement and for adhering to the PCA sportsmanship credo of "Honor the Game."
