A 22-year-old Princeville man assaulted Aug. 21 at 'Anini Beach Park was in critical condition today at The Queen's Medical Center, according to Kaua'i police.

Christopher Owens was reportedly assaulted near the campgrounds at about 9:45 p.m., police said. He was taken to Wilcox Hospital for treatment and later medevaced to Queen's.
