MLB: Yankees add pitchers De La Rosa & Hacker to roster

NEW YORK — The Yankees purchased the contract of right-hander Eric Hacker from Double-A Trenton on Friday.
New York also purchased the contract of left-hander Wilkin De La Rosa from Class-A Tampa.
De La Rosa, signed as an outfielder in 2001 and was converted to a pitcher in 2007. He went 9-4 with a 2.11 ERA this year in 11 starts and 21 relief appearances for Class-A Charleston and Tampa.
Hacker was 9-6 with a 2.43 ERA in 26 starts this season for Tampa and Trenton.
