It looks like the vog and the accompanying high humidity will be around for one more day, based on a forecast issued by the National Weather Service.
Trade winds are expected to return tomorrow when a high pressure area northwest of the islands pushes eastward behind a weakening front, forecasters said.
Until then, the winds will be light, allowing local land and sea breezes to develop.
Showers will favor mauka areas this afternoon and evening. Dense high clouds will linger into Wednesday.
After trade winds return Wednesday, clouds and showers will favor windward and mauka areas.
