NFL: 3 Broncos draw $5,000 fines

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver's lopsided loss to the New England Patriots proved costly for several Broncos players, with the league fining Ryan Harris, Michael Pittman and Jamie Winborn $5,000 each Friday for various infractions.
Harris, an offensive tackle, drew a fine for unnecessary roughness when he shoved a Patriots player late following a fumble by Andre Hall in the first quarter.
Pittman was penalized for a chop block in the fourth quarter and Winborn for grabbing quarterback Matt Cassel by the face mask in the second quarter, with the league deeming it a "major" face mask.
The Broncos fell 41-7 to the Patriots on Monday night, losing linebacker Boss Bailey (left knee) and backup quarterback Patrick Ramsey (right elbow) for the season. They also lost cornerback Champ Bailey for at least a month with a pulled groin.
Pittman leads the team in rushing with 316 yards and four touchdowns. Winborn is in line to replace Boss Bailey at strong side linebacker.
The Broncos (4-3), who lead the AFC West, are off this weekend.
