The 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team Memorial Association will hold a live silent auction and spaghetti dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Tropics.

Admission to the auction is free. Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are $8 presale and $10 at the door.

Proceeds will go to the 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team Memorial Association, a nonprofit established to honor the fallen from recent and current deployments by putting up a permanent memorial at Schofield Barracks.

Tropics is at 589 Foote Ave. at Schofield. The public is invited to the event and will be allowed on base with proper identification.
