The family of Iokepa Liptak, an 8-week-old baby killed by the family's dog, has set up a fund in the baby's name.

Just after midnight Sunday, the dog hopped on the bed and attacked the sleeping infant. Funeral services are pending.

The dog belonged to the baby's great-aunt Opal Sao, who lived with the baby and his mother. The Hawaiian Humane Society euthanized the mixed-breed dog Monday.
