MICHAEL "COOP" COOPER, 54, of Ha'iku, Maui, died Nov. 1, 2008. Born in Michigan. Carpenter. Survived by sons, Nate Ortiz and Matt Skeele; parents, Pat and Patty; brothers, Pat, Marty and Pete; sister, Moree Meehan; four grandchildren. Service 11:30 a.m. today at Maliko Gulch, Ha'iku. SARAH "KELA" LEIALOHA POAI GAISON, 71, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died Nov. 12, 2008. Born in Hilo. Former employee of Hilo Medical Center Housekeeping Department, Air Caro Enterprises, E.K. Fernandez, Apollo Bar, Sarah Coventry, Stanley Home Products, Tupperware and Avon. Survived by daughters, Samuelyn "Sam" Gaison-Evangelista, Selmajean Amaral, Sheiladine Kaupu and Sherylanne Quihano; sons, Samuel Nailima Jr. and Sheldonalexander; stepdaughter, Stella Marie; hanai daughter, Karen Kahunanui Mac Donald; sisters, Rachel Hanohano, Eva Rowe, Mabel Iopa, Sybil May Evans and Cathy Ann Simmons; brothers, Abraham, Lawrence, George and Dennis Poai; hanai brothers, Samuel Kawaha, Fredrick "Fuku," Richardson "Richard," John Mac "Chuchu," Danny and Randy Kalauli; hanai sister, Lillian "Nani" Kaeha; 31 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren. HIDEO "JOE" NOYAMA, 85, of Honolulu, died Nov. 19, 2008. Born in Honolulu. Retired Times Super Market senior vice president of grocery operations; member of Regimental Headquarters, 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Survived by sons, Craig and Jared; grandson, Cory.
