SOUNDS OF HARMONY

“What the Devil Happened to Santa?” is a comical musical evening presented by The Sounds of Aloha Chorus.
Favorite holiday songs will be part of a tale that finds Santa down with a terrible cold on Christmas Eve, and the scrambling to find a substitute.
The show also features the Pacific Trades barbershop quartet and the Samoan Gospel Heralds.
Concert times are 7:38 p.m. Dec. 13 and 4:08 p.m. Dec. 14 at Palikü Theatre, Windward Community College (yes, that’s 7:38 p.m. and 4:08 p.m.).

BOP TRIBAL’S NEW CD

Bop Tribal, a local jazz quintet, celebrates its debut CD, appropriately named “Bop Tribal,” Dec. 18 at Gordon Biersch, Aloha Tower Marketplace.
The group is composed of Satomi Yarimizo, piano; DeShannon Higa, trumpet; Reggie Padilla, sax; Shawn Conley, bass; and Abe Lagrimas Jr., drums.
The celebration begins with a 6 p.m. püpü party, followed by a 7 p.m. concert. Guests include Rocky Brown, Seph 1 and Maria Remos.
