The Makahiki Maoli Festival that was set to run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Kapi'olani Park has been rescheduled for the same time and place for tomorrow, event organizers said.

"We're in the middle of a storm that's passing," said organizer Ka'uhane Lee. "So we're going to let nature take its course for today. Everybody will be there for the festival on Sunday."

The cultural event and fundraiser is a celebration of traditional Hawaiian makahiki games and will feature exhibits, demonstrations and food booths, as well as local artisans, crafters and Hawaiian and Polynesian dance performers.
