Hawaii Circuit City store not on list for closing

The lone Hawai'i store for Circuit City Stores Inc. isn't among the 155 the electronics retailer will close as it tightens up its finances.
Circuit City's two-story location at Pearlridge Center will remain open as the company also cuts its workforce by 17 percent and looks at delaying store openings. Richmond, Virginia-based Circuit City also said it is considering renegotiating leases on some of its 566 remaining locations.
