A grand jury on O'ahu yesterday returned a 34-count indictment against an identity-theft suspect who allegedly victimized 26 people.

The indictment charges Neil Robert Driskill, 37, with 25 counts of unauthorized possession of confidential personal information, sale or manufacture of deceptive identification, four counts of second-degree forgery related to trying to cash checks, one count each of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm on a public highway.

Pearl City Crime Reduction Unit officers arrested Driskill on Aug. 8, 2007 in Makakilo on three outstanding warrants, including one for parole revocation.

Driskill has 16 prior convictions.
