Series of small swells, trade winds keep surf up

Small northwest swells will be arriving later today and continue through Friday, the National Weather Service said, with a larger northwest swell expected Saturday.

A small south swell is also expected today that will be here through midweek. Surf along eastern shores will also reach moderate levels because of strong trade winds.

Today, surf along north-facing shores will be 2 feet or less through this morning andl increase to 2 to 4 feet this afternoon.

East-facing shores will see surf 3 to 5 feet; south shores surf will be 2 to 4 feet and surf along west shores wil be 1 to 3 feet by this afternoon.
