Project Grad at Kailua High School for 2008 is a go this year, despite previous reports that it would be canceled because of a lack of funding and that the money raised so far would be distributed to other causes or individuals.

At a recent Friends of Kailua High School meeting, the board agreed to continue Project Grad and to use 100 percent of the money raised over the past 18 months for Project Grad, an organized alcohol- and drug-free graduation party for seniors.
