Volunteers needed for Kokololio Beach cleanup

Helping hands are needed for a clean-up at Kokololio Beach in La'ie on Sunday from 2:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
Volunteers will remove marine debris and driftwood from the coastline to protect marine birds and animals and make the area safer for beachgoers. Volunteers are asked to bring a hat, sunscreen, shoes and buckets. Bags, gloves and water will be provided.
All participants will be entered to win prizes from Kale's Natural Foods, Ben & Jerry's and East Oahu Physical Therapy. For more information, call the Beach Environmental Awareness Campaign Hawai'i by Saturday at 393-2168 or 554-2902 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
