Kids ages 4 to 6 are invited to the Waikiki Aquarium on Thursday for a hands-on activity to learn about hermit crabs.

The cost is for $16 for an adult and child pair (or $12 for members).

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Kids will get a close-up encounter with hermit crabs, learn about the animals through storytelling and get to create a crab of their own design.
