Baseball: Lefty Cliff Lee wins Indians No. 5 job

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Cleveland left-hander Cliff Lee beat out Aaron Laffey and Jeremy Sowers for the final spot in the Indian's rotation today.
Lee, demoted to the minors last season, pitched five scoreless innings Saturday against the New York Mets.
Cleveland is parting ways with lefty reliever Aaron Fultz, who had a rough training camp. Unless the Indians can work a trade, they will have to pay his entire $1.5 million contract for 2008.
On Sunday, the club acquired left-hander Craig Breslow on waivers from Boston, possibly to fill Fultz's bullpen spot.
