Advertiser Staff
The Department of Land and Natural Resources will reassess today the closure of the state Pu'u Anahulu Game Management Area on the Big Island.
It has been closed recently because of a large wildland fire that burned about 600 acres of state land, centered about four miles southeast of Waikoloa Village, and mauka of Mamalahoa Highway. No homes are threatened and no evacuations were needed.
