NHL: Crosby to miss another week with ankle sprain

Associated Press

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby says he'll be sidelined another week because of a high-ankle sprain.

If Crosby stays out that long, he'll will miss a home game Sunday against Philadelphia, a road game against the New York Rangers on Tuesday and a home game Thursday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Penguins are 12-6-4 without Crosby this season, who missed 21 games after hurting his right ankle in March. He came back and played three games, before missing Wednesday's 7-3 home win against Buffalo because of ankle soreness.

Marion Hossa, a wing who was obtained last month by the Penguins, will be a likely linemate when Crosby returns.
