H-1 airport viaduct lanes closed today

Advertiser Staff

Three rightmost lanes of the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct will be closed in the westbound direction from the Airport on-ramp to the Kamehameha Highway/Aloha Stadium/Arizona Memorial off-ramp (Exit 15A) from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. today for concrete pavement repair work. All on-and-off-ramps will remain open during this time.

The scheduled roadwork is part of a $9.1 million project to repair potholes along a nearly three-mile stretch of the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct (top deck) between Middle Street and Valkenburgh Street.

Crews will use a fast-forming concrete to fill in potholes.

To minimize vibrations along the viaduct while the concrete cures, the speed limit near the repair area will be reduced to 15 mph.
