Local party promoters Flash Hansen and Matty Boy Hazelgrove will host a fundraiser event in honor of fellow promoter Komo Low, who passed away late last month.

The event is an effort to raise money for Komo Low's girlfriend and family, and to offset funeral costs.

Low is best known for launching the weekly Wonderlounge party at the W Hotel. Low also partnered with Hansen and Hazelgrove to launch the popular monthly Skyline event. Both Skyline and Wonderlounge are still popular nighttime destinations for Honolulu clubgoers.

The fundraiser will be held March 19 at 9 p.m. at the W Hotel. The evening's entertainment lineup and the cost of admission have not yet been announced.

Funeral services for Low will be held at 11:30 a.m. March 28 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipi'o in the Mauka Chapel. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.
