Police today are looking to arrest a fugitive whose probation has been revoked for failing to comply with sex-offender registration requirements.

Jon Joseph Rutherford, 21, was convicted Dec. 3 of felony second-degree sex assault and carrying a deadly weapon, a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to one-year confinement on each count to be served concurrently and five years probation.

Rutherford is wanted on a felony contempt warrant in addition to the parole-revocation warrant. He stands 5-feet-7 and weighs 145 pounds.
