LaBoy signs with Cardinals, $7.5M guaranteed

Former University of Hawaii defensive end Travis LaBoy has signed a five-year, $22 million contract with the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN.com.
LaBoy, who played four years with the Tennessee Titans after being drafted in the second round in 2004, will receive $7.5 million in guarantees.
The 260-pound LaBoy, 26, started 20 games with the Titans. Last year he didn't start any games but managed to compile six sacks while coming in on passing situation.
He had 19 1/2 sacks in his career with the Titans.
The Cardinals hope LaBoy will replace Calvin Pace, who signed with the New York Jets.
A defensive end with the Titans, LaBoy will move to outside linebacker in Arizona's 3-4 defensive scheme.
LaBoy played for UH from 2001 to 2003. He was the Western Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Year in 2003.
