Golf: Teen star Hurst wins Futures Tour event

DECATUR, Ill. — Teen star Vicky Hurst won her second Futures Tour title in six starts this year, shooting a 5-under 65 today for a four-stroke victory in the Michelob Ultra Duramed Futures Players Championship.
Hurst, who will be 18 on Thursday, had an 8-under 272 total on the Hickory Point course, and earned $16,100 to jump from fourth to first on the money list with $39,101. The top five at the end of the season will earn 2009 LPGA Tour cards.
Hurst also won the tour's Jalapeno Golf Classic in late April in McAllen, Texas.
Australia's Sarah-Jane Kenyon (65) finished second. Sara Brown (69) and South Korea's M.J. Hur (74) tied for third at 3 under.
