Former University of Hawai'i infielder Jonathan Hee agreed to terms with the Boston Red Sox, according to the Associated Press.

Hee, a 2003 graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute, was selected in the 21st round as a second baseman by the Red Sox. He played four seasons with the Rainbows and graduated last month.

Hee will play for the Lowell (Mass.) Spinners of the New York-Pennsylvania League, which starts Tuesday.

Terms were not released.
