FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The New England Patriots today signed offensive lineman Oliver Ross, a 10-year veteran who was sidelined for the 2007 season.
Ross spent two seasons with Arizona before missing all of last season with a triceps injury. He has played in 89 games with Dallas, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Arizona.
He was drafted by the Cowboys in 1998 in the fifth round but his longest stint with any team was with the Steelers from 2000 to 2004. He started all 16 games for Pittsburgh at right tackle in 2004.
