William "Billy" Pieper II has been hired as vice president and wealth management consultant in Bank of Hawaii's Trust and Private Banking Sales Department. Prior to joining the bank, he was president and owner of the Asset Enhancement Group and previously held positions as manager/branch office supervisor and financial planner with Beneficial Financial Group in Kailua.
STARWOOD HOTELS & RESORTS
Starwood Hotels & Resorts has named Nona Tamanaha regional human resources director for Hawai'i and French Polynesia. Previously, she was Starwood's area director of human resources for Waikiki, overseeing four O'ahu hotels - Sheraton Waikiki, The Royal Hawaiian, Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani - as well as the Sheraton Maui.
AMERICAN SAVINGS BANK
American Savings Bank has appointed Beth Whitehead executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel, and Ray Skinner executive vice president, Consumer Banking.
Whitehead oversees contracts and procurement, community development, facilities, human resources, marketing and communications, security, and training and development.
Skinner will be responsible for consumer banking operations, including retail banking, mortgage banking, certain investment services and consumer marketing and product development.
