3,200 in Kaneohe lost electrical power

A power outage today affected 3,200 Hawaiian Electric Co. customers in Kane'ohe.
The outage was reported at 6:29 a.m. and HECO had power restored to affected areas from Windward City Shopping Center to Temple Valley by 7:17 a.m., company spokesman Darren Pai said.
The cause is under investigation, Pai said.
