A 26-year-old Ka'a'awa man was arrested today for allegedly threatening another motorist with a gun.

The suspect was arrested at his residence at 9:45 a.m. on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

A man, 36, told police shortly after he turned left from Kamehameha Highway into the Kokololio Beach Park parking lot at about 8 a.m., he heard the suspect swearing at him and pointing a pistol at him.

The suspect then drove off. No injuries were reported.
