"A Touch of Gold" will turn the historic Hawaii Theatre into the famed Apollo Theatre in Harlem for a night of music and fun Aug. 31 to benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children in Honolulu.

It will be the group's eighth annual Labor Day weekend concert.

Proceeds from all ticket sales will go toward building a new Shriners hospital. The new facility will be designed to take full advantage of advances in care and technology that have developed in recent years.

"A Touch of Gold" will be joined on stage by "Believe," Marlene Baldueza, Lau Togafau, and students from Nanakuli High & Intermediate School's performing arts program. There will also be an amateur contest.

Ticket information and performance times will be announced later.
