Six Hawaii hotels among top 100 in magazine survey

Six Hawai'i hotels quality as being among the top 100 hotels worldwide, at least in the view of Travel + Leisure magazine's 2008 readers's survey.
The Lodge at Koele, a hotel management by Four Seasons, came in at the No. 15 spot, and was the highest Hawai'i hotel in the ranking.
Others included on the list were the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea (26), Four Seasons Resort Hualalai (27), the Halekulani (44), the Hotel Hana-Maui (68) and the Fairmont Kea Lani (85).
Hawaii also placed prominently in a survey of top islands, with Maui ranking No. 3, Kaua'i No. 4 and the Big Island at No. 7.
Hawaiian Airlines was cited as being the No. 5 best U.S. airline.
