NBA: Bulls' top pick Rose held out because of knee

ORLANDO, Fla. — Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose sat out the team's summer league game today with tendinitis in his right knee.
Rose, the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, tweaked the knee in an exhibition game yesterday.
He has struggled a little in summer league, where the Bulls are one of six teams playing five matchups in five days in Orlando. The games are closed to the public but broadcast online.
Rose has averaged 9.5 points and 5.5 assists in two games.
