Philippine UCC bishop in Honolulu today

Bishop Eliezer Pascua, the general secretary of the United Church of Christ of the Philippines, will be in Honolulu tonight speak about the killings, abductions, and enforced disappearances in the Philippines.
Pascua testified in 2007 to a Senate hearing on behalf of the victims of human rights violations in the Philippines. In response, U.S. churches issued human rights resolutions. He will lecture on "Coming Together for Peace with Justice in the Philippines" at 6 tonight at Harris United Methodist Church, 20 S. Vineyard Blvd.
