Weekly thoughts
By Rev. Paul Osumi
We often say of a person, "He has a thick skin." It means he is an insensitive person, indifferent to the feelings of others. How thick is your skin? Do you have a skin like that of a hippopotamus? If you go through life with thick skin and a blunted heart, you will be shut out from life's adventures in human relationships.
Thoughts by the late Rev. Paul Osumi are selected weekly by his family.
