SpinFest, a fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation of Hawai'i, will be Jan. 25 at the Honolulu Club.
The event is a 12-hour stationary cycling marathon, starting at 6 a.m. at the club at 932 Ward Ave.
Club members and the public are invited to participate by making a suggested donation of $20 per hour.

SpinFest is a kickoff for Sharon's Ride, an annual national outdoor bike/run/walk fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation.
Sharon's Ride is Jan. 27 at Kapi'olani Community College, featuring a 10-, 35-, 75- or 100-kilometer ride along Honolulu's southeastern coastline or a 5- or 10-kilometer run into Diamond Head. To register for Sharon's Ride call 528-3058.
BOXING
STATE EVENT TOMORROW
The Hawai'i State/Regional Boxing Championships is tomorrow at the Evolution Training Center, 94-457 Ukee St., Suite 209 in Waipahu.
The bouts begin at 7 p.m, and admission is $15.
The winners advance to the USA National Championships at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., March 8 to 16.
WEIGHTLIFTING
CLASSES FOR JUNIORS SET
Weightlifting classes for boys and girls, ages 11 to 15, will be held at Manoa Valley District Park.
The classes are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 4 p.m.
Registration is ongoing. There is no fee for the class.
The snatch and clean and jerk will be taught by a certified coach.
