A second alarm has been sounded for a fire reported to be on the 17th floor of the Kuhio Park Terrace building A in Kalihi.

The first fire units were sent out on the call about 7:10 a.m. followed by a second alarm a few minutes later.

There has been no confirmation unit as to the extent of the fire, if any.

The sprawling Kuhio Park Terrace public housing complex is located on Linapuni Street.

The first fire units arriving at the scene reported light smoke coming from one of the upper floors.
