Vog, haze likely to hang around all week

A ridge will remain over the Islands all week producing light winds, the National Weather Service said.

Nighttime land breezes will bring clear skies and cool temperatures, forecasters said.

Daytime sea breezes will produce some afternoon cloudiness but little rain.

The light winds will keep vog and pollution in the vicinity, resulting in hazy conditions.

A front is expected to reach the Islands Sunday bringing showers and clearing the air.
