Soccer: Parking opens 3 p.m. for Pan Pacific event

Advertiser Staff

Parking gates will open at 3 p.m. and turnstiles at 4:30 p.m. for this week's Pan Pacific Soccer Championships at Aloha Stadium.

The four-team international exhibition will be played today and Saturday with two matches each day at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

Aloha Stadium announced that gates No. 1 (Main Salt Lake), No. 3 (Halawa) and No. 4 (lower Salt Lake) will open at 3 p.m. for parking.

The Aloha Stadium Swap meet will be open until 3 p.m. both days.

Security personnel will monitor and control behavior. Fans also may call the anonymous hotline to report any illegal or irresponsible behavior at 808-483-2807.

Stadium management says a "zero-tolerance policy" will be in effect for irresponsible behavior. Guests will not be allowed to loiter in the parking lot after the start of the match.
