Suspect arrested in Ala Moana stabbing

A 32-year-old McCully man was arrested by police early today on Kona and Pensacola streets on suspicion of stabbing another man.
The man was arrested at 3:45 a.m. when officers saw him with bloody clothing and a bloody knife nearby. He was booked for second-degree assault and second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.
Police said the stabbing occurred during a "large affray" in the Ala Moana area at 3:20 a.m. A man, 18, was found on the sidewalk with a two-inch gash on his head from an apparent stabbing.
The injured man was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
