HANAMA'ULU — Kaua'i County officials have announced plans to clean up and beautify Hanama'ulu Beach Park. They estimate that it'll take about a month to do the work, according to a county news release.
The park will be closed to camping and use of the pavilions will not be allowed for the duration of the beautification project, from Feb. 21 through March 22. However, there will still be limited access to the beach.
When the work is completed, the Hanama'ulu Neighborhood Association will host a celebration at the park. The association's first annual Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled there on Sunday, March 23.
