H-1 bypass traffic to return to main freeway
The state this week is routing H-1 Freeway traffic from a temporary bypass back to the main freeway, as construction of the North-South Interchange reaches another milestone.
Since June 21, 2008, freeway traffic has used a bypass road as workers built an overpass that the North-South Road will run under at its interchange with the H-1 Freeway.
Honolulu-bound traffic was redirected onto the freeway last night.
Wai'anae-bound traffic will be redirected onto the freeway from 8:30 p.m. tonight to 4:30 a.m. tomorrow. During that time, two westbound lanes will be closed.
