An armed robbery suspect arrested by police Wednesday in Waikiki is being held without bail at the main police station cellblock for pick up today by federal authorities.

Bronson McShane, 24, was being held for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, police said.

A Nov. 25 Honolulu CrimeStoppers bulletin identified McShane as a suspect in the Nov. 10 armed robbery of Leilani Lounge at 1219 Ke'eaumoku St., which involved a shotgun. He was also under investigation for a November robbery of a bar in Chinatown, also involving a shotgun. Chinatown is in a Weed & Seed zone.

McShane was arrested Wednesday at 6:41 p.m. at 2303 Ala Wai and booked for first-degree burglary and second-degree criminal trespass.
