The National Weather Service says the heaviest rains on O'hau are expected to end tonight, but a flash flood warning remained in effect for O'ahu and Kaua'i.
Mount Waialeale on Kaua'i received more than 21 inches of rain in the last three days ending at 8 a.m. Saturday, the weather service said.
On O'ahu for the same three days Schofield Barracks had more than 15 inches; Mililani more than 12; Wai'anae more than 9; Waimanalo more than 7.
The weather service said there will be showers for the Honolulu Marathon tomorrow, but nothing as severe as what O'ahu has been experiencing.
However, the weather service said, a new front bringing more rain should hit O'ahu by the middle of next week.
