METAIRIE, La. — Reggie Bush's left knee will be examined again after what appeared to be a minor sprain.
The New Orleans Saints running back will have an MRI and noted orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews will look at the images. Saints coach Sean Payton said Saturday the results are expected early next week.
Bush was hurt when he was pushed out of bounds in the first half of Thursday night's 27-24 loss in Chicago. He remained on the sideline, hoping to return during the second half.
Payton, however, held him out after seeing him on a couple of plays. The coach said he could see the injury was affecting Bush.
