KAHULUI — The state Department of Transportation advises Maui motorists of alternating single lane closures on Kahului Beach Road in both directions between Mile Point 1 and Mile Point 0, today through Friday from 9 p.m., to 5:30 a.m., nightly, for pavement resurfacing.

During these closures, traffic will be contraflowed through the area in the remaining open lanes.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
