Geralyn St. Joseph of Unity Church of Diamond Head will discuss her faith journey at the Interfaith Conversations Windward, a chapter of All Believers Network that meets 1 p.m. Sept. 8 in the "Blue Room" on the 14th floor of Pohai Nani, 45-090 Namoku St. in Kane'ohe.

BUDDHIST TEACHER WILL HOLD TALKS

Jetsun Khandro Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist teacher, will give a series of talks Sept. 4 to 8 at Toho No Hikari, 3510 Nu'uanu Pali Drive.

The talks, sponsored by Kagyu Thegchen Ling (the Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Center) will include Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, the Heart of Wisdom Sutra.

Cost is $140 for the session, or $20 per evening talks, which are from 7 to 9:30 p.m., with registration one hour before the talks.

MOON FESTIVAL PART OF PEACE DAY

The Nichiren Mission of Hawaii will hold a Moon Festival with Drumming for World Peace as part of Hawai'i's Peace Day Celebration.

The Moon Festival is 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 13 at the mission, 33 Pulelehua Way. It includes taiko drumming, lanterns, luminary candles, food, a sangha festival market and entertainment. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own drums or borrow a hand-held taiko.
