The Mililani Neighborhood Board will sponsor a "meet the candidates" primary election forum at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Recreation Center No. 3.

Twenty-six individuals involved in contested races have been invited, including candidates for the congressional 1st District, state Legislature, mayor, City Council and Board of Education.

Candidates running unopposed in the primary are not part of the forum.

The public is invited and the event is free.

The participating candidates will introduce themselves, present their platform and participate in a question-and-answer session.
