Volleyball: Brazil beats Italy, meets U.S. in final

BEIJING — The Brazilian men's volleyball team defeated Italy 3-1 and will face the United States for the Olympic gold medal on Sunday.
Brazil, which won the gold at the 2004 Athens Games, won 19-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-22 Friday in the semifinals.
The United States remained undefeated in Beijing with a five-set victory over Russia in an earlier semifinal match.
Italy will face Russia for the bronze medal.
