10-year-old girl missing on Big Island

Big Island police are trying to locate a 10-year-old girl who failed to return home yesterday.

Shellsea Gouveia-Asuncion of Holualoa is 4-feet-5-inches tall, weighs about 90 pounds and has short black hair. She was last seen riding a blue BMX mongoose bicycle on the Old Mamalahoa Highway in the Holualoa town area.

The girl was wearing a yellow SpongeBob sleeveless shirt and blue jeans.
